Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5 oz) can Glory Foods Reduced Sodium Gumbo
  • 1 cup diced and cooked chicken
  • 1 cup smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg + 1 Tbsp water (egg wash)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add flour and cook 2 min for a light roux.
  4. Add gumbo, broth, garlic powder, onion power and pepper. Simmer 5 min.
  5. Pour into individual ramekins or one 9″ pie dish.
  6. Top with puff pastry, trim edges, and brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake 20–25 min, until golden.
