Fried Cabbage with Garlic, Onions and Potatoes

Robust and zesty flavors combine together in this one pan dinner with Glory Foods Seasoned Cabbage, sliced potatoes, bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 (15 oz) can sliced potatoes; drained and patted dry
  • 2 (15 oz) cans Glory Foods Seasoned Cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons imitation bacon bits (optional)
  • lemon pepper

Directions

  1. Melt butter over medium-low and fry garlic in a large (high-sided) skillet for 2 minutes, stirring frequently (make sure garlic does not burn as it can taste bitter)
  2. Stir in vinegar; cook one minute more. Turn heat to medium-high.
  3. Add potatoes and fry until they start to brown (a couple of minutes) then add cabbage and bacon bits, if using.Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with lemon pepper before serving.
  5. Serve with breadsticks, garlic bread or fresh rolls.
