Creamy Chicken Tortellini Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 slices thick bacon; diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion; diced
  • 2 ribs celery; sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon pizza seasoning
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 (10-1/2 oz) cans Cream of Chicken* condensed soup
  • 3 (14.5 oz) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can Glory Foods Seasoned Medium Green Lima Beans
  • 1 (12 oz) package fresh Four Cheese Tortellini
  • 2 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

  1. In a large soup pot of Dutch oven, fry bacon until almost crisp.
  2. Drain off fat and add butter, onion, celery and pizza seasoning.
  3. Add ground chicken and fry until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in condensed soup and chicken broth; reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Add lima beans and tortellini ; cook for 15 minutes more. Sprinkle with thyme before serving.
  5. *Cream of Celery soup could also be used in place of Cream of Chicken
