Ingredients: 3 tablespoons butter; 4 tablespoons flour; 1-2/3 cup warm whole milk; 1/2 teaspoon white pepper; Dash hot sauce; 1 (5.5 oz) package vegetarian pastrami slices; chopped; 1 (15 oz) can Glory Foods Seasoned Butter Beans; 4 slices thick garlic bread slices or TexasToast; Red jalapeño slices, optional

A vegetarian spin on the traditional chipped beef over toast, our Creamed Chipped Beef is made with vegetarian pastrami and Glory Foods Seasoned Butterbeans.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1-2/3 cup warm whole milk
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Dash hot sauce
1 (5.5 oz) package vegetarian pastrami slices; chopped
1 (15 oz) can Glory Foods Seasoned Butter Beans
4 slices thick garlic bread slices or TexasToast
Red jalapeño slices, optional

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour.
Gradually blend in milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
Stir in white pepper, “pastrami” and Butter Beans,
Lower heat and simmer 5-6 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in a dash of hot sauce.
Broil garlic bread or Texas toast then spoon creamed beef over bread. Garnish with red jalapeño slices, if desired.
