Cheesy Collard Green Dip

Take a break from that classic spinach dip and spice up our Glory Foods Simply Seasoned Collard Greens with Pepper Jack Cheese, Parmesan, and jalapeno peppers.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon corn oil
  • 2 green onions; sliced very thin
  • 1 small red jalapeño pepper; seeded and minced
  • 1 clove garlic; minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese; cubed
  • 1/2 cup shredded hot pepper Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15 oz) can Glory Foods Simply Seasoned Collard Greens; drained
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (room temperature)
  • fresh cut vegetables and / or tortilla chips for serving

Directions

  1. Heat corn oil in a medium saucepan and add green onions, jalapeño and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, Jack cheese cheddar cheese and collard greens; cook on low until all cheese has melted. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and mayo.
  3. Transfer to a heated mojacate (this will keep the dip warm for over and hour) or a warmed serving dish.
  4. Serve with fresh cut vegetables and / or tortilla chips ~
